OS: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
Commit:2ec456b
Issue: Casting spells from the menu bar usually causes a crash (usually reported as a segfault or "corrupted double-linked list"). This appears to happen more consistently in combat mode.
How to reproduce: Play a scenario with a character that can cast the Level 3 Priest Spell "Light Heal All" (the default party character Michael can do this). Once in the scenario, enter combat mode and cast "Light Heal All" from the top menu bar (not from the combat button menu). This crash can also be triggered by other spells (usually spells without a target or those targeting a PC) but not as consistently.

I can't find that commit. It's not the current tip of master, and git command-line says "ambiguous argument '23c456b': unknown revision or path not in the working tree".

I'm sorry. That's what I get for transcribing instead of just copy-pasting. The '3' should have been an 'e'. Fixed in original post.

@josefwk I may have fixed this. Could you check again from the current master branch?
