Delete Branch "%!s()"
Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
I don't know what this preference is for-- (why wouldn't you want to save the maps?)-- but I just noticed that (at least on Mac) checking the box doesn't do anything. (I had deleted my preferences file, and changing this setting doesn't cause a new one to generate.) The LED also doesn't preserve its status after you close the preferences window.
It's kind of a legacy from the time when disk space was much more limited, so I wouldn't remind removing the preference entirely.
I wonder if it already was removed on the backend, and just an unwired LED left in the dialog. Lemme see what's going on here.
EDIT: In a short examination, this seems to be the case. The LED is named "nomaps" and grep doesn't find any code reference to that id.
